Position Announcement:Dean of the College of ECE

National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering with appointment to begin by February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2026.

ECE College has the largest and strongest electronic and electrical engineering major in Taiwan, including 2 departments, 4 research institutes, 3 degree programs, and 8 research centers. Each department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with a current enrollment of 3,106 students. Among its 152 faculty members, ECE College has 3 academicians of Academia Sinica, 3 international NAE members, 34 IEEE Fellows, 10 OSA Fellows, 3 SPIE Fellows, and 2 SID Fellows. Surrounded by national research institutes such as TSRI, NSPO, NCHC, TIRI and NSRRC, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the world-renowned Hsinchu Science Park, ECE College provides world-class education and advanced research infrastructure. Distinguished alumni of our ECE College in academia, industry and government have made many great contributions to Taiwan's high-tech fields.

Candidates must have an exceptional record of scientific or technical achievement in an ECE-related field, demonstrating leadership and creativity. He/she should have a strong drive to expand educational and research accomplishments in a highly visible environment. Candidates must be able to vigorously promote collaboration in research and education.
