Safety Policy


  1. NYCU will follow “Personal Information Protection Act” and other relevant laws. Under such laws, we will judiciously protect the Party’s personal information.
  2. NYCU promises the rights and interests of the Party should be respected in collecting, processing or using personal information and the information should be handled in accordance with the principle of bona fide. It should not go beyond the purpose of collection and should be reasonable and fair. For exceeding the necessary scope of specific purpose, the Party should be declared of intention, and should consent in writing.
  3. NYCU guarantees our best effort to maintain the correctness and latest of personal information provided by the Party. The information should not be stolen, disclosed, altered or infringed. NYCU will also reinforce our security and take necessary measure to protect collected, processed or used personal information.
  4. NYCU respects the Party's request to exercise the rights with regard to his personal information, including any inquiry and request for a review of the personal information; any request to make duplications of the personal information; any request to supplement or correct the personal information; any request to discontinue collection, processing or use of personal information; and any request to delete the personal information. In accordance with Personal Information Protection Act, the response to the requests should be given promptly by us.
  5. NYCU strikes to intensify the consciousness of personal information protection and the manage measure of information security. We will hold training and promotion irregularly every year in order to raise awareness of the importance of personal information protection and information security.
  6. NYCU will introduce relevant regulation regarding the management of personal information protection and information security. To ensure the implementation of regulation, NYCU will continually develop and practice the management of personal information protection.
  7. NYCU will monitor the appointed agency for collecting processing and using personal information. We will stipulate regulation for responsibility and confidentiality for personal information protection. Such regulation will be included in the agreement. The appointed agency is required to abide by the regulation and regularly receive examine and audit.
  8. The Declaration is announced to take effect after approved by Personal Information Protection and Information Security Council, and the same shall apply to any amendment thereto.
