Electronic Retinal Prosthesis／Prof. Chung-Yu Wu

　The heterogeneous work of the developed smart car, TAIWAN iTS-1, for all-weather driving and safety protection, integrates the technologies of intelligent control, image recognition and system engineering to achieve the autonomous driving and intelligent adaptive cruise control. The result is the first one to make the achievement in the desired level of comfort for drivers through the evaluation of international standard ISO 2631-1 to avoid vehicle acceleration to hurt drivers. Prof. Wu, has also developed the indoor and outdoor Vulnerable Individuals Protection Service, which is a pioneering application in the world, for disabled and/or aged people, by intelligent wheelchairs with people following.
