Anti-sexual harassment and voyeurism Announcement

Recently, there have been several incidents of voyeurism on college and university campuses. We urge all institutions to enhance awareness and education to promote self-protection and safety. Please stay vigilant to protect your personal safety.

 

According to article 319-1 of the Criminal Code:Anyone who, without the consent of others, captures their sexual images using      photography, videography, electromagnetic recording, or other technological methods shall be subject to imprisonment for a term   not exceeding three years.
 
Crimes involve the following:
1. Sexual intercourse.
2. Genitalia or any body parts objectively capable of arousing sexual desire or shame (obscenity).
3. Conduct involving physical contact with the aforementioned body parts, objectively capable of arousing       sexual desire or shame (obscenity).
4. Other behaviors related to sex that are objectively capable of arousing sexual desire or shame (obscenity).
Note: This includes audio and photographs but does not include voice or drawings.
 
According to article 315-1 of the Criminal Code:Anyone who engages in one of the following acts shall be subject to   imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, detention, or a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand New Taiwan Dollars:
 
1. Illegitimately use tools or equipment to peep at or eavesdrop on the private activities, conversations, or body privacy     of others. 2. Illegitimately record the private activities, conversations, or body privacy of others using audio recording,photography,videography, or electromagnetic recording.
The targeted actions or privacy include:
Private activities, conversations, or body privacy of others.
