Delegation Visit from Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) to National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) on October 4, 2023

The SUTD delegation, led by President Prof. Chong Tow Chong, was joined by Prof. Ricky Ang and Associate Provost of International Relations. On the NYCU side, the delegation was led by Prof. Chen-Yi Lee, Senior Vice President, Prof. Li-Chun Wang, Dean of the College of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Prof. Kai-Ten Feng, Deputy Vice President for International Affairs.
During the visit, both institutions presented their strengths and shared their commitment to global cooperation in education and technology. Prof. Ricky Ang from SUTD and Prof. Li-Chun Wang from NYCU delivered enlightening presentations that underscored their dedication to academic and research excellence.
A notable highlight of the visit was a tour of Prof. Chen-Yi Lee's Lab, the System Integration & Silicon Implementation Lab, which showcased the groundbreaking research and innovative projects at NYCU. This provided the SUTD delegation with a firsthand look at the practical applications of technology and engineering education at NYCU.
The enduring relationship between NYCU and SUTD has already yielded valuable results. Exchange programs have allowed students from SUTD to study at NYCU in recent semesters, providing them with a diverse and enriching educational experience that fosters cross-cultural learning and collaboration.
